The food we ate had to be prepared by the children. We had many projects signed to us. My favorite chore was! to peel what seemed like millions of potatoes. Those potatoes were planted, harvested, and stored by the children in the orphanage. We ate baked, mashed, and edulcorate potatoes. On spare occasions, we were treated to a wonderful fish dinner!
